MSM, 5-28-18, Mark 3:22-35

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today, our lesson was from Mark 3:22-35. In this passage, we find Jesus accused of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebul. He explains in parable that they should be careful not to blaspheme the work of the Holy Spirit. It is an unforgivable sin. He then defines his family as those who do the will of God. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Thanks for listening to “Searching God’s Word”  on KTTR.org  or searchinggodsword.org

Today’s lesson is from Psalms 116 and 117. The first of these psalms tells of the author’s love for the Lord and the appropriate response in living righteously. The second is a call for praise from all, especially those who benefit from his steadfast love!  If you enjoy the lesson, tell others about our program and check out searchinggodsword.org.

Today’s lesson is from Luke 17:1-19. It is all about attitudes. Be careful of your influence on others. Be forgiving. Don’t expect that God owes you anything. And finally, be thankful. All good lessons and needed by each of us!  If you enjoy the lesson, tell others about our program and check out searchinggodsword.org.

MSM, 5-25-18, FFAF Women leading in Chapel

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today was a Free-for-All-Friday. We talked a little about the news as usual and then discussed how people are affected by the sources they get their news from. The question that arose for our Bible study was “What about our Christian colleges that use men and women to lead in chapel services. Discuss the Bible passages about this.” We looked at 1 Cor. 14:34 and 1 Tim. 2:8-15. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

MSM, 5-24-18, Mark 3:7-21

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today, our lesson was from Mark 3:7-21. As we continue in Mark, we see the emphasis on his power and authority. His power is demonstrated in the crowds that followed him and the healing and demon removals that took place. His authority is established by his appointment of 12 apostles to preach and teach. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!
