Tonight, we were in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18. In this passage, Paul more instruction about the resurrection, specifically, about those who die before Christ returns. We also talked about what will happen and when. But make no mistake, we must ready whenever it happens! This passage is about hope! Today our lesson was from Hebrews 11:17-40. This a roll call of the faithful, a hall of fame of the faithful. All of these demonstrated their faith in obedience and did it in the face of suffering, yet without seeing the end result. We, seeing the end result, now understand.
