Tonight, we examined Philemon, the last of the prison epistles. In this personal letter, Paul requests the acceptance and forgiveness of a slave turned converted brother from Philemon. This letter teaches us about love for one another in Christ and new perspectives on old relationships. It also teaches us about forgiveness. We also learn to be observant and recognize the strife around us and the conflict that Jesus can cause.
