Tonight, we were in 2 Thessalonians 2. Here we find Paul returning to the theme of the 2nd coming of Jesus. Someone seems to be troubling them with false information. Paul warns of rebellion and a man of lawlessness that will precede Jesus’s return. They should remain true to the original message delivered by Paul. Today, our lesson was from Mark 3:22-35. In this passage, we find Jesus accused of casting out demons by the power of Beelzebul. He explains in parable that they should be careful not to blaspheme the work of the Holy Spirit. It is an unforgivable sin. He then defines his family as those who do the will of God.
