Today was a Free-for-All-Friday. We talked about the newspaper shooting in Maryland and rambled about society in general. There is growing unrest and greater division around us today than we have seen in many years. The solution is God’s Word. Only with common ground can we reunite and live the way God intends. In these verses, John reports that they had attempted to stop someone casting out demons in Jesus name because they were “not with us.” Jesus instructed them to leave them alone, if they are not against us, they are for us. The idea of prayer leads to instructing men to lead in prayer and women to learn in quietness, not exercising authority over men.
