MSM, 7-12-18, Mark 12:28-44

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today, our lesson was from Mark 12:28-44. In this passage, Jesus is once again questioned, this time by a scribe.  This time seems more honest, what is the greatest commandment? Jesus then warned of the hypocrisy of scribes and pointed out a widow who truly trusted God. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Today, our lesson was from Mark 12:13-27. In this passage, Jesus is challenged by the Pharisees and then the Sadducees.  First, the question is about taxation. Then, another about resurrection. In both cases, he neatly avoids the traps and corrects their thinking. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Today, our lesson was from Mark 12:1-12. Here we find the parable of the tenants. A man builds a vineyard with all it needs, leases it out and the tenants refuse to pay the rent. They even killed the man’s son. Funny how the ones who it was about still refused to listen! As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!
