Tonight, we continued our study of 1 Timothy, Chapter 2. In this chapter Paul addresses two things. He instructs Timothy to pray for those in authority. The idea of prayer leads to instructing men to lead in prayer and women to learn in quietness, not exercising authority over men. Today was a Free-for-All-Friday. We talked a little about the news as usual and then discussed how people are affected by the sources they get their news from. The question that arose for our Bible study was “What about our Christian colleges that use men and women to lead in chapel services. Discuss the Bible passages about this.” We looked at 1 Cor. 14:34 and 1 Tim. 2:8-15. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!
