Tonight, we continued our study of 1 Timothy 6:1-10. In this passage, Paul instructs Timothy about proper work relations and attitudes. He warns about false teachers and their motives and encourages contentment. We hope you enjoy our lesson, but more, we hope it encourages you to live closer to our Savior! Today’s lesson is from Psalms 142-144. These psalms of David are about feelings of distress, depression/oppression and concern for God’s protection. But they also include assurances that, indeed, God does hear and protects His own!  If you enjoy the lesson, tell others about our program and check out searchinggodsword.org.

MSM, 8-10-18, FFAF Indwelling of the Spirit

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today was a Free-for-All-Friday. Our question today was about the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. We reviewed the levels of interaction found in the book of Acts. We talked about the ways in which the Spirit helps us. Finally, we determined that He does indwell individual Christians. The question is how, literal indwelling or only by the word? As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

MSM, 8-9-18, Romans 2:1-11

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today’s lesson was from Romans 2:1-11. Knowledge of the Law does no good if you do not follow it. Judging others, while we do not obey it, is unacceptable. God is no respecter of persons. With or without law, He demands righteousness! As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Today’s lesson is from Luke 22:24-46. This is some more of Luke’s account of the night before Jesus’s crucifixion. He corrected his disciples about greatness. He instructed them about preparation and he prayed fervently, but submitted to God’s will. If you enjoy the lesson, tell others about our program and check out searchinggodsword.org.
