MSM, 5-31-18, Mark 4:30-41

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today, our lesson was from Mark 4:30-41. Two things, a parable and a demonstration of power. First, the kingdom is compared to a mustard seed, starts tiny, grows large. Second, faith in the midst of storms. Our Master is master of the elements and any situation we face. Trust Him! As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Today’s lesson is from Isaiah 38-39. In these chapters, Isaiah tells the story of Hezekiah’s illness, prayer and recovery from a life threatening illness. After being granted extra years of life by God, Hezekiah seems to place his trust in Babylon. There are lessons to be learned here! Today’s lesson is from Isaiah 31-32. In these two chapters we find a warning against reliance on the people and things of this world and leaving God out of the equation. We also are told of a coming King of righteousness and warned not to become complacent, because things can change quickly for the worse. In everything, we trust and obey God. It’s the only sure way! Today’s lesson is from Luke 12:1-12. Jesus was against hypocrisy, it will be found out! The one to fear is the one who controls eternity. There is no fear in obedience. Pay attention and don’t reject the testimony of the Holy Spirit. If you enjoy the lesson, tell others about our program and check out searchinggodsword.org.
