SGW, 4-2-18, Psalms 106

Thanks for listening to “Searching God’s Word”  on KTTR.org  or searchinggodsword.org

Today’s lesson is from Psalms 105. In this Psalm we are reminded of God’s patience with Israel. From the Exodus to Israel’s infidelity and even into captivity, God is always faithful to keep His promise. He forgives and restores when we repent and turn to Him. Today’s lesson is from Luke 13:18-35. In these verses we see Jesus teaching us that the kingdom will grow if planted. We also find a warning that it is necessary to follow God’s instructions in order to receive His reward. If you enjoy the lesson, tell others about our program and check out searchinggodsword.org.

MSM, 3-30-18, FFAF Church History

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today was a Free-for-All-Friday. The question we considered today was, “Has there always been a church of Christ?” We took a broad look across the history of the church. While there have been many departures from the original text, it seems that there have always been people who sought to do things the way God commanded. Can we put our finger on all of them? Not really, but we are assured that not even death can prevail against Christ’s church. It will abide forever. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Today we looked at Hebrews 5:1-10. In this chapter we are reminded of our better high priest. We should listen to His message and be sure not to miss out on his promised rest! As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!

Thanks for listening to “Mike & Steve in the Morning”

Today we looked at Hebrews 4:11-16. We need to be sure we do not miss out on the promised rest because of disobedience. Pay attention to God’s living and active Word. Follow our sympathetic high priest and approach God in confident obedience. As usual, we closed with a devo and prayer. Enjoy!
