SGW, 2-19-18, Colossians 3:1-17

Thanks for listening to “Searching God’s Word”  on KTTR.org  or searchinggodsword.org

Tonight, we examined Colossians 3:1-17. Paul urges us to put our focus and our thinking on heaven. We are discontinue, put to death, the things of the world in us. We are to put on the qualities of Christ and let everything we do be in the name of, by the authority of Christ, recognizing His authority over us. Finally, we give thanks to God for what He has done for us in Christ. We hope you enjoy our lesson, but more, we hope it encourages you to live closer to our Savior!

SGW, 2-16-18, Luke 11:14-28

Thanks for listening to “Searching God’s Word”  on KTTR.org  or searchinggodsword.org

Today’s lesson looks Luke 11:14-28. Three things are included in this passage: a challenge to Jesus’s authority in casting out demons, a reminder that casting out but not replacing can be disastrous and a focus on doing what God says. Ultimately, all of life is about fearing God and keeping His commandments (Eccl. 12:13).

SGW, 2-14-18, Isaiah 29

Thanks for listening to “Searching God’s Word”  on KTTR.org  or searchinggodsword.org

Today’s lesson looks at Chapter 29 of Isaiah. A warning to Jerusalem of disaster like they have never seen before from all their earthly enemies. It is also a call to listen to God Himself, not their own ideas or understanding of Him. It concludes with a reminder that the faithful will reveal again what true trust in and obedience to God are all about. I hope you enjoy the lesson, but more, I hope it encourages you to live closer to God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
